Where is the camp located?
Thekkady is a hill station in the district of Idukki in Kerala. You can reach Kumily and from Kumily jeep can be arranged at an additional cost.
Do you provide transport to the campsite?
You can drive drive to the campsite on your own.You can also reach Kumily from Bangalore, Coimbatore, etc, by bus and avail jeep pickup to camp spot & back at Rs. 3000/Jeep (to and fro) - Accommodates 7 ppl.
Can the camp be booked on any date?
If you are minimum 2 persons,you can book the campsite on any date.
What about food?
Lunch, Snacks, Dinner, Evening Tea will be provided on Day 1
Morning Tea & Breakfast will be provided on Day 2. Food cost is included in the package.
What about restrooms?
There are proper restroom with running water(Westen closet). Hot water will be available.
What are the activities Thekkady camp?
Waterfall visit(self explore place), Birdwatching,Campfire, DIY stargazing.Youtake a tour of the host's bungalow filled with interesting artifacts, lounge around for sometime.
What about safety?
Our Campsite is a verified,private gated camps.Camp have basic first aid kit. The common area will be a sanitised one. Doctor available if emergency.
What if its rain?
Our tent is a waterproof one which can withstand rain. We have backup cottage for extreme weather.
If the place gets red alert for weather,Will the event takes place?
If the extreme weather persists and and only if the government announces any ban for camps,the event will be cancelled with full refund. Otherwise the event will take place with all the safety measurement.
