Where is the camp located?
Vagamon, also called the Scotland of Asia is a gorgeous little hill station located in Idukki district of Kerala.It’s a paradise for nature lovers.
Do you provide transport to the campsite?
You can reach Kumily from Bangalore, Coimbatore, etc, by bus and avail jeep pickup to camp spot & back at Rs. 5000/jeep which can accommodate 7- 9 members. Nearest Railway Station is Kottayam. From there Jeeps could be availed (Reach-out to camp host for assistance).
Can the camp be booked on any date?
The Camp can be booked on any days provided there are minimum of 3 members.
What about food?
Lunch, Snacks, Dinner, Evening Tea on Day 1 (Veg / Non-Veg) and
Breakfast on Day 2 (Veg + Egg) will be provided.
How about restrooms?
There are proper restrooms (Western Closet) with running water.
How difficult is the hiking?
All hikes are easy paced and in most cases are doable by people of all ages.
Are pets allowed?
Yes. Pets are allowed.
What about safety?
All listed campsites are Verified Private properties / Permitted sites with back-up cottage or dorm facility for extreme weather events. All campsites have basic first-aid.
What if it rains?
Our tents are water proof and can withstand rain. And we have backup cottage or dorm for extreme weather conditions.
