Where is the camp located?
The camp is located 10 Kms from Chidambaram & 70 kms from Pondy. There are frequent buses & trains to Chidambaram from Chennai & Pondy. An autorickshaw pick-up could be arranged from Chidambaram. Exact map location of the campsite will be sent along with our confirmation email on booking.
Do you provide transport to the campsite?
You have to reach the campsite on your own. If you take public transport to Chidambaram; our hosts can arrange an auto-rickshaw (20 mins ride and Rick contact can be shared).
Can the camp be booked on any date?
Yes. You can book the camp on any date of your choice subject to availability. Just select the number of tickets required, the desired dates & book. There is no minimum number requirement for this camp.
What about food?
You get both veg & non-veg (Dinner Only) food options
Food inclusions:
Refreshments, snacks and Dinner on Day 1
Tea / Coffee & Breakfast on Day 2.
How about restrooms?
There are clean toilets (western closet) & bathrooms with running water.
How difficult is the kayak?
You will be taught Balance, Different Strokes, Handling, Control and Maneuvers from a certified Instructor.
Are pets allowed?
Yes. The camp allows pets.
What about safety?
The campsite is private gated property. There is a 24X7 caretaker & the entire campsite is covered by a CCTV. The campsite is also a certified watersports facility with required safety gears & basic first aid kit. All kayaking / SUP instructors are licensed professionals.
